This Year’s Themes: Widening Participation and Challenge Based Learning
Keynote Speaker: Cecilia Christersson, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Malmö University
Main purposes of the conference:
- to offer an opportunity for teachers, study administrators, support personnel, management, and student unions to meet and engage in qualified dialogues about standards in education and learning
- to create a forum that inspires discussion and creation of knowledge in regard to learning and teaching in higher education
- to establish a platform through which teachers may present reflection on their experience and their documented knowledge in regard to learning and teaching in higher education
The conference is designed as a traditional academic convention, comprising presentations of research or development projects and subsequent discussion, roundtable talks regarding substantive questions, best practice presentations based on reflection on experience, a specially invited keynote speaker, and a concluding panel discussion. Through your presentation, you will contribute to joint teaching scholarship, and participants will be able to take part in and develop the field of teaching and learning in higher education. After the conference, there will be an opportunity to publish a complete paper in the conference proceedings.
The last date for submission of abstracts is 4 June 2020.
